2024 Lok Sabha Phase Schedule

The 18th general elections will be held in 7 phases, with varying numbers of seats contested in each phase until completion. 

Phase 1

Nominations for the 1st phase on 27 March, and voting on 19 April in 21 states and union territories.

Phase 2

Phase 2 of Lok Sabha elections 2024 includes 12 states and union territories. Nominations end on 4 April and voting takes place on 26 April.

Phase 3

The 3rd phase of elections is on 20 April with nominations set for 7 May in 12 states and union territories.

Phase 4

The 4th phase of elections is on 13 May, covering 10 states and Union territories, with nominations closing on 25 April.

Phase 5

Nominations for this phase on 3 May precede the Lok Sabha elections’ 5th phase on 20 May involving eight states and union territories.

Phase 6

The 6th phase of elections for Union territories and 7 states is scheduled for 25 May, with nominations closing on 6 May.

Phase 7

The 7th phase of elections is set for 1 June, with nomination deadlines for 8 states and UT on 14 May.
